Day 18: Two Wheelin'

We watch the Tour de France at our house in July.  After watching part of a stage today B6 decided she is done with training wheels and wants to ride like a big kid.  She has also decided she wants to race bicycles like the men in the Tour.  We will have to take her to the free races at the Velodrome this summer, but she should probably just concentrate on balancing for right now.

Day 17: Angry Birds

My girls are into Angry Birds now because of their father ... Thanks!!  Enough said - the picture speaks for itself.

Day 16: Slip Slidin' Away

It has been HOT here in Minnesota the last couple of days, so we decided to get out the Slip n' Slide.  It took the girls a bit to acclimate to the coldness of the water vs the heat of the weather ... but they got it.

Day 15: What is this thing?

We have lived here for 8 years now.  This plant has lived here longer than we have. It has never done this before.  The girls thought it was asparagus when it first started sprouting up.  It actually kind of looked like it for a while. 

Day 14: Zoo trip

Our Daisy troop went to the zoo ... a fun time was had by all.

Day 13: Shortstops

Day 12: Coming home

J4 is having a great time playing tee ball with the rest of her team.  She especially likes hitting and running the bases.  

Day 11: What do I do now?

I'm not sure what this game they were playing, but B6 seems to be confused as to what to do next.

Day 10: But why can't I?

My friends' daughter wanting to join her older brothers in their adventures.  She wasn't having a good day at this point.

Day 9: Nice Arm

Day 8: Crazy

Ok -it is June 30 and I'm only on Day 8.  I just pulled all of the pics off my camera today.  Get ready for the best of June's pictures.  Here is my lovely little girl smiling the way I'm sure she thinks is attractive.  We'll have to work on that.

Day 7: Cupcakes

Not the greatest picture in the world, but representative of my day.  We got to hang out with our friend Kristel and her niece and had a pink cupcake and princess party.  The girls frosted the cupcakes.

Day 6: Field Trip

Yesterday was the last day of kindergarten and they had a field trip to a bowling alley.  This is most of B6's class, there was one we couldn't talk into getting in the picture.  The kids had a blast, I came home with a headache.

I haven't posted a picture since Sunday and now it is Thursday already.  I have one for yesterday ...

Day 5: Climbin' trees

It was a great day for climbing trees.  We don't get to do that as much as the girls would like because our trees at home are all mature oaks and none of them have low hanging branches.  There were several trees to climb at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Here is B6 doing her impression of a sloth.

Day 4: Tractor ride

We visited Grandma and Grandpa this weekend and the best part of the weekend was the tractor ride.  This was taken before the tractor was actually fired up, apparently B6 jumped and ran to her dad when Grandma started it up.  They had a great time riding up and down the country road with Grandma.

Day 3: Wet

It was wet this morning.  It of course started pouring rain right before we took Breonna to school and stopped almost as soon as we returned.

Day 2: Tee Ball Practice

Yesterday was the first tee ball practice for the girls.  They both LOVED it.  One of the tee ball dads told J4 she did a great job as we were leaving and she has been telling everyone she sees that she did a great job.  She's so cute.

Day 1: Morgan

This is my friend Morgan.  I liked the sun reflecting off her sunglasses, but there were so many clouds that I wasn't fast enough to catch a good reflection - the clouds are pretty cool though.

Photography

I've been dabbling around in this photography thing for several years now.  I read photography magazines, photography books, and photography blogs.  I have a reasonable amount of pro gear.  I've done senior pictures, family portraits, and weddings for friends.  I feel I need to improve my skills.  There is no way to do that other than to start shooting.  Every day.  Haul one of my cameras everywhere I go.
